I believe it’s because now people create to be liked and feel validated as opposed to expressing a message or just truly creating.

In the Problem stage, you need to write the recognised problem you must get the user to agree with you. Then Agitating the user, making the problem larger than life and ‘worse than death’ is what drives them to accepting the solution.
